TREASURER'S REPORT
Treasurer's report given by Faisal Jurdi. 

CITY CORNER
Laura Blaul of the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) gave a report of OCFA activity.

• Planners are being hired to interface with planners at City and County levels.
• A Fire Protection Engineer will be on staff by August 5, 2002 in a supervisory capacity.
• New fees were approved by OCFA's Board.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Jim Martin, City of Garden Grove, reported on last BSC meeting.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Mike Hudson, City of Buena Park, reported on upcoming Education programs.

Jim Martin, City of Garden Grove, reported on the Alternative Methods and Materials Committee. A motion was approved to not send the letter drafted by the Committee to other chapters in advance of developing Building Official guidelines for reviewing alternate methods and materials. The committee was given direction to proceed with developing guidelines. Jim Martin tendered his resignation as Chair of this committee. A new Chair will be elected at the next committee meeting.

ORGANIZATION REPORTS
ICBO/ICC/CTI - Roy Fewell and Chuck Ramani reported on ICBO and ICC merger activities.

CHAPTER BUSINESS
President Tolles requested a show of hands of those planning to attend the Annual Business Meeting in Fort Worth, Texas. Three to four individuals so indicated.

President Tolles urged members to attend the CALBO Regional Meeting at Irvine City Hall on Friday, July 26, 2002, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Gaddis Farmer gave a report on ICC activities.

• Presented draft of suggested amendments for consideration, "Orange County Uniform Code Program 2001 Adoption"
